Weather wins I-44 Speedway opener
By ronnie Williams (Lebanon, MO) -- With persistent rain and more being forecasted for the weekend, Officials at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway have decided to cancel the scheduled season opener for Saturday Night in The NASCAR Whelen-All American Series Stockcar Racing Action.
This will place the 1st race of the season on Saturday Night May 6th with a full race program featuring Pro Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Chargers along with The RCW Wresting Event.
Speedway Officials are looking for a possible make-up date for the Coca-Cola Spring Sizzler 50 program.
Gates will open May 6th at 6PM with The Wrestling Matches to start at 7PM and Racing to begin at 7:30.
